Hope the new year is treating you well.
To celebrate is all nearly making it through winter I'm posting the second instalment of my Forehead of the Morning mix thing. The equipment used was 1 turntable, 1 CD player, 1 ipod, 1 MPC a dark night and lots of booze

3. All Ho's instrumental - Bass Patrol (love this tune, bought it for 50p years ago, proper Miami bass)
4. The Black Hit Of Space - Human League (think this is from their first ever album, its about a piece of vinyl that gets to number one and engulfs the world "how can it stay on the top when its swallowed all the shops")
5. The Old Mans Back Again - Scott Walker (Real funky tune dedicated to the neo-stalinist regime, they don't come along too often)
6. Fight Club - Bling 47 ( an amazing dark rare J Dilla production)
7. When You Sleep - Salem (love Salem, really mad group for Chicago, do this sort of stuff much better than the XX)
8. Elvis Presly Bootleg - (Not sure who is behind this but its my favourite Elvis tune over a Wailers instrumental, good)
9. Love In The Club - Usher ( Bosco remix) - (Any one who knows the Lo-Fis knows our love of the Talkbox and this is a great example of it been used very well, love the original, love this even more)
10. Alan Bennet (Leeds' favourite Son, 'Get back Tolstoy' How many other mixes have TWO mentions of old Russian icons)
11. Lost and Looking - Sam Cooke (beautiful sad track from Night Beat. Which is a really good, complete album form Sam Cooke)
12. Whatever happened to the Teenage dream - T Rex (everything Mika wishes he was)
